For the third summer in a row, Lia wrapped up Girl Scout day camp in Bonney Lake today. It's hard to believe that she started going to this when she was a little Daisy who had just finished Kindergarten. Unfortunately, this year, Lia had to miss the first two days of the five day camp due to our family vacation at Priest Lake. I didn't want to head up to Northern Idaho until after the 4th of July which meant that we had to wait until Tuesday, July 5th. Since we always like to spend a week up there, we didn't get back home until the following Tuesday which is why she missed the first two days. Oh well. Luckily, Lia was in the same unit with all of her good friends from her troop and from school (this was a first!), so she was able to slip right into the thick of things like she never had missed a day. In addition to being with her three buddies, Lia also got to be in the highly sought after pink unit and enjoyed wearing her pink shirt and bandana each day. And like the previous two years, Lia loved everything about camp from the crafts to the activities to the games to spending time with the older Girl Scout, assistant leaders. Girl Scouts has been such a fun part of the past three years of Lia's life. Here's to another three or maybe more!

For the first time ever, the day camp provided a website where we could look up daily pictures that were taken by the older Girl Scouts. Here is one I found of Lia messing around with Addyson and another girl from their troop named Piper.
