I know that in order for these pictures to be true before and after makeover photos, Lia should probably be wearing make-up and a different outift and posing in a much more flattering position for the second one, but you get the point! Today, Lia had her first hair-cut! And, I'm not really sure that I can call it a true haircut as just an inch or so was removed from her bangs and a tiny bit from the mullet-in-the-making in the back (shhhhh...don't tell her father about that one!). Anyways, she actually did pretty well sitting on my lap while her little locks were trimmed by my friend, Megan, who doubles as a hair stylist in her free time. Thank you, Megan!

The picture on the left totally made me snort with laughter. That tight lipped, "What the heck is my mother doing?" face is pretty much hilarious.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, her first haircut! She looks so beautiful with bangs. My kids get their first haircut at age 5! ha, but it's been true for both girls, scissors didn't touch their hair till a week before kindergarten. Sterling lasted two years with his natural curls. But Weston was about the same as Lia. He started to look like a pretty little girl! ha ha congrats on all the walking! Now you won't have to do all the bending over and picking up when you're out! yay!
ReplyDeleteOK, well I have to explain now! ha ha I think it's HARDER (but really cute) to have bangs, because you have to keep trimming them nad find them out of their hair when you wash etc... I grew out my girls hair and I just used little plastic ponytail holders when it was shorter, and then once it grew past the chin I just parted it and they just had long hair! My girls never want their hair cut anyway. hee hee I love to do it! Rylie doens't and that is why she got a shoulder lenthg cut for K. But Alexis is an angel for hair so she gets to keep it long! Isn't it fun we have all this to talk about now!! :) Another storm is coming tonight! yikes!
