We gathered around the kitchen table this afternoon to decorate our gingerbread houses. For the first time ever, all three older kids had their own houses to decorate. After Ron got Lia and Logan situated, he was able to just entertain Emmett and prevent him from eating more candy while the two older kids totally decorated their houses on their own. Ella and I worked together as a team to build and decorate the beautiful, Frozen-themed castle that I bought on clearance last January at Michaels. We had a great time listening to Christmas music and working on this family project. Although we have not been able to attend many Christmas activities and events outside of the house, I am grateful for the opportunities that we have had to spend time together as a family inside our home while doing some fun, Christmas activities.
