I picked up Lia at the church today at 10:30 on our way out of town with the kids to spend the week at Priest Lake with my family. She has just spent the past five days at Zion's Camp in Belfair with the rest of the Young Women from our ward and stake. They were blessed with beautiful weather all week long and Lia enjoyed spending time with the other girls from our ward. Although she did struggle a bit with being left out by her closest friends (thanks to them bonding with a third girl during their week at FSY), Lia still managed to make the most of it. She enjoyed getting to know some other girls in our ward and had fun participating in all that Girl's Camp has to offer from archery to skits to paddle boarding. Overall, she had a good time, and I am just so grateful that she was able to participate in this wonderful experience for a second summer in a row after her first year was cancelled summer 2020.
Pictured above is the photo I took of Lia with her friends Alyssa, Hope, and Emerald before leaving the church parking lot on the morning of August 2nd.
Below are the pictures that we found of Lia with her various friends and ward unit from the stake photo gallery.
