After picking out our Christmas tree in the rain yesterday, we gave it a good day to dry out in the house before gathering around it tonight to decorate. The kids and I had a good time going through out large batch of ornaments and decorating both the children's tree in the foyer and our family tree in the living room while listening to Christmas music. I love this tradition as it always helps to feel like we are officially kicking off our Christmas season. I am so grateful for a husband and four children to share this special time of year with.
