Last night, I was able to slip out of the house sans children to attend Lia's second choir concert of her high school career. Since it was the holiday concert, the amount of people in attendance doubled due to an elementary school choir performing and many alumni being home for winter break. Luckily, since I was alone, I was able to find a single seat in the front, left section of the theater where I had a nice view of Lia since she stands on that side of the bleachers. Her choral group, the Choraliers, did a great job singing three songs, "Wassail," "Dona Noblesse Pacem," and "Sleigh Ride." At the end, they joined with the other three choirs to sing, "Carol of the Bells," which is always such an inspiring song to hear. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and such a peaceful break from the craziness of this busy month of the year!
Lia and some of the other sopranos singing one of their song.
Another shot of Lia and her choir.
