When I found out months ago that Les Miserables was coming to Seattle this spring, I knew that I would have to take Lia to see it since it is one of the most iconic Broadway shows of all time. After talking to her friend, Hope, the morning after she spent the night at our house after the girls' Homecoming dance, we found out that she would love to go with us. So when tickets went on sale a few weeks later, I was able to purchase tickets for the three of us to go together. After gifting Lia this ticket for one of her Christmas gifts, we waited several months for the show to come to town. We were finally able to go yesterday to see the 2 p.m. matinee show and were all blown away by this musical. I just had no idea who incredible it would be to see this show in person. The music, the sets, the costumes, and the acting was incredible. I am so grateful that I was able to see this heartbreaking story performed by such an incredibly talented cast with these two girls before they both go off to college in a few months. It will be a memory that I will always remember.
