Yesterday afternoon, Lia got "heart attacked" for the first time in her life! Her Young Women's president had sent me a text earlier in the day telling me that some of her leaders would be stopping by to decorate our front door since they are still unable to get together at church on a weekly basis. Lia only got to enjoy being in the Young Women organization for 2.5 months before everything was shut down by Covid-19. Her YW leaders have done an amazing job the past four months trying to reach out and connect with the girls on a regular basis through texts, weekly Zoom meetings, and dropping off treats and gifts on the porch from time to time. I am really impressed with their efforts and dedication to their church callings. This surprise that they left on our front door was just one more fun thing that they have done to let Lia know that they love her and are thinking about her. Needless to say, the kids were all blown away by this as they have never seen a "heart attack" before.
