We gathered around the table after dinner tonight to complete our annual tradition of decorating gingerbread houses. This year Lia and Logan shared a house and papa and Ella split a house with Emmy and me. We listened to Christmas music and enjoyed each other's company while covering our houses with royal icing and a variety of candies. Emmett actually helped me decorate our side of the house a little bit before eating enough candy to last him throughout the remainder of holiday season! Now we get to admire our houses (until I get tired of them and throw them away) while watching the candies mysteriously disappear over the next several weeks. Can anyone say Emmett?!?
