The Snowflake Lane Parade

After spending the morning in North Bend on the Santa train, Ron headed home in his own car and I took the kids to spend the rest of the day at my parent's house.  After Emmett's afternoon nap and an early dinner, we left at 6 p.m. to drive to Bellevue to watch the Snowflake Lane parade.  This is an annual tradition that is held nightly through Christmas Eve right next to Bellevue Square.  I have always wanted to take my kids to go see this, but have never found the time.  Since my parents only live about 20 minutes away from the train station where we caught the Santa train, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to go see with parade with my kids and my mom!  Although the rain had stopped earlier in the day, a really cold wind was blowing when we arrived.  Although we all bundled up, we spent a really cold 45 minutes outside waiting for the parade to start and watching the parade.  Luckily, we all survived and managed to have a good time watching this cute parade before heading home for the night.
