Ella competed in her second meet of the season yesterday at the Pacific Gym Invitational held at the fairgrounds in our town. Since it was Ascend's home meet, I had to go and volunteer for four hours in the morning during a different session. As a result, I asked Ron if he could go and cheer on Ella for her evening meet since my foot was really bothering me and I had to host Emmett's family birthday party the next day. The meet started at 6:30 pm and ran really late into the evening as they didn't arrive home until after 11 pm! I was so grateful to Ron for taking Ella as I was fast asleep by the time they got home. Ella did great for her second meet of the season earning a 9.125 on bars, 8.875 on beam, 8.45 on floor, and an 8.8 on vault with an all around score of 35.3 which qualified her for the state competition. We are so proud of her hard work and all that she puts into this sport!
