After being home LESS than 48 hours from the Philippines, Ron and Logan packed up and headed off to the boys' church camp called Camp Lamoni held at Zion's Camp in Belfair from July 29th to August 2nd. I was really worried how Logan would survive at camp while adjusting to a 15-hour time change. As a result, I was really grateful that Ron was able to join him for a second year in a row in case Logan needed his support. However, I am happy to report that Logan had a great week and did just fine with the exception of having a difficult time falling asleep the first night and only getting a few hours of sleep before they were woken up early the following morning. Ron said that he barely saw him and Logan said that he had a great time. While Ron helped out at the rock climbing course all week long, Logan ran around with his designated group participating in all of the many activities that this camp had to offer like archery, rock climbing, swimming, disc and mini golf, and attending his daily scripture class. He made some new friends in addition to being with his good friend, Benton, from our ward. Logan came home dirty and tired on Saturday morning, but happy with the week that he spent in the woods with a bunch of boys. I'm so grateful that he was able to pull this off on the heels of our big trip to the Philippines!
