After practicing twice a week since the beginning of August, Emmett had his first soccer game of the season today at his home field in Puyallup. Although his team name changed to Black Hawks this year, he has the same coach and a few of the same players, plus a few new boys from his school. As always, Emmett dominated on the field, both on offense and defense. He just excels in soccer! Emmett had an overall great game and made FIVE out of the ten goals for his team. It is so much fun to watch him play and I can't wait to cheer him on for seven more games!
Emmett running down the field.
Emmett going after the ball.
Running with the pack.
Scoring a goal!
Going in for another goal.
Notice how there are no players around him. This is due to the fact that he is such a faster runner than everyone else.
A proud Emmett giving me a smile after the game is over.
