Girl Scouts and the Nutcracker

Lia and I headed out this afternoon to attend The Nutcracker Ballet with her Girl Scout troop down in Olympia.  Although we have been taking Lia to various productions of this ballet since she was four years old, this was only our second year in a row going with her troop to see this ballet.  We carpooled down with Bethany and her mom and had a wonderful time enjoying this mother-daughter tradition.  I have loved this ballet since I was a little girl and I love that I have been able to pass this onto my daughter.  We had a great time watching the ballet together and getting to go up on stage after wards to meet and take pictures with all the dancers.  Until next year!

Lia and her troop on stage after the performance was over.  This specific performance was set aside for Girl Scouts to attend and that is why we were allowed to go up on the stage after wards to meet the dancers.
