We kicked off the summer season tonight with our first family-of-four bike ride to a park in a nearby neighborhood. It was Logie's first time behind a bike and our first time trying out our new bike trailer that Ron found at a garage sale last month. With the exception of a few cries here and there, Logan did pretty well and even fell asleep on our way out. Lia loved being all snug up next to her brother in the trailer until she started complaining that her "stomach hurt" and opted to ride in her old bike seat attached to Ron's bicycle.
Who knows what that meant. Regardless, we had a pleasant ride through some neighborhoods, enjoying each other's company and a nice, summer evening. Here's hoping for many more evenings like tonight.
