8 Months Old!

Well this cute, little guy turned eight months old today!  It's hard to believe that he is two-thirds of his way through his first year of life.  Logan really has grown up so much this past month.  He crawls (completely normal now) all the time.  He rarely stops and is more interested in traveling from toy to toy than actually playing with them.  The other big milestone of this past month is that he can now pull himself up to a standing position.  He went from pulling himself up to his knees to his feet in one week.  Now Logan can be found pulling himself up to the couch, the bookshelf, the kitchen chairs, or the coffee table all the time and enjoys playing with toys that are on these horizontal surfaces.  He still is working on refining the process of getting back down to the ground after standing for awhile.  Sometimes, he has a graceful landing and, other times, he just bites the dust and cries!  Logan also will now follow us from room to room or go looking for us if he hears our voices in a different part of the house.  It really is quite cute to find his smiling face come around the door when he finds us.  Other milestones include the popping of his second, bottom tooth (discovered on September 12th), the lowering of his crib mattress, eating puff, baby crackers and cheerios, and catching his second cold.  The latter has actually wreaked major havoc in the Hartland during the nighttime hours.  For the past eleven nights, Logan has slept as poorly as a newborn due to congestion and just not feeling well.  It has drained Ron and me immensely and we are hoping that he will return to normal in the sleep department soon as I just don't know how much longer this aged couple can take.  Besides that setback, he is just the cutest baby around and we love him to pieces!
