Pumpkins and Fish

We have been up to some fun and simple activities this week.  On Tuesday, October 6th, Logan's preschool co-op met at our local pumpkin patch for a little field trip.  Six of the seven kiddos and their moms came with younger siblings.  We had a fun time wandering around the farm doing all of the things that we normally do as a family when we visit Spooner Farms.  It was nice to just enjoy this time with Logan and Ella; however, Logan is very anxious to bring "Wee-uh" and his papa back soon!
Today, Lia's school was off for the day, so we decided to head up to Issy to spend the day with the grandparents (after a quick stop at the AGD store before hand).  We met grandma at the fish hatchery when we first got into town to take a gander at all of the salmon swimming "home" to spawn and die.  This is the best time of year to go and visit the hatchery, so I love that Lia always has a two-day break from school during this time of October.  Here are a few pics of our local adventures.

We enjoyed walking around the barn and checking out all of the animals.  Here are Kyler and Logan inspecting the baby chicks.

Logan and Ella doing the same.  This was fun for Ella as she had just learned how to make the "beep, beep" sound for this animal!

We spent quite a bit of time doing the duck raises as this is Logan's favorite activity here.  We got there first and stayed waaaay after the group left.  And then had to do it again one more time!  Here is my boy pumping away!

Ella and a very large, hair bow checking out the salmon below (she insisted on wearing Lia's hair bow that day which was totally funny as she rarely does this).

More fish viewing.

Checking out the fish from another viewing platform.
