Emmett's Preschool Program

After dropping Emmett off for preschool this morning, I returned 1.5 hours later to see him and the rest of the class perform in their end-of-the-school year program.  Since this preschool is now run by a completely different staff than when my three other children attended there, everything they do from the concerts to the parties to the field trips is much more simple and watered-down.  So, although there were no decorations and refreshments like in previous years, it was still fun to sit in the chapel and watch an adorable group of children sing several songs for us.  Emmett was front and center and did a great job singing along and doing the hand gestures to all of the songs.  He is just such a happy, enthusiastic, obedient little boy at school that he has absolutely loved his first preschool experience this year.  I just love this age so much and am trying to savor the little time left that we have together before Emmett heads off to Kindergarten in a little over a year!

Emmett smiling directly at me.  What a cutie!

After the program was over, we were able to go back to the classroom so that Emmett could color a picture.  He is always so excited to take me back to his classroom whenever he has the chance to show me things like where his artwork is hanging and what toys he loves to play with during preschool.
