Celebrating Ron's Birthday

Since Logan currently has soccer and Ella has gymnastics on Tuesday evenings, we opted to celebrate Ron's birthday a day early this year on Monday, November 1st, since Mondays is one of our few free evenings of the week.  We dined on sinigang and lumpia for dinner followed by present opening in the living room.  We finished off the evening with "Jell-O pie" for Ron and chocolate cream pie for the kids and me for dessert.  The kids were excited to watch their dad read their cards and open up their gifts.  Logan even gave him $5 from his own hard earned money which I thought was so sweet.  It was a simple evening, but I am grateful that we found the time to celebrate our favorite guy and his 53rd year of life that he is starting tomorrow!

Logan and Ella watching their dad read Logan's little card that Logan made for him.

All four children gathering around their dad before singing "Happy Birthday" to him.
