Ella's Last Soccer Game of the Season

Ella just finished off her first season of soccer today by playing in her last game in Lakewood near Tacoma. Overall, this has been such a great season for Ella and such a fun season for Ron and me to watch. Ella has loved practicing and playing with two of her closest friends from school (Elise and Madelyn) and has really enjoyed learning how to play this sport. We have loved watching her play each week as she is so aggressive, fast, and powerful in every game. Ella really gives it her "all" and is usually the fastest one running down the field and the first one to chase down the ball when it is kicked out of bounds. Although she did not score in every game, I lost count of how many goals she made and how many other times she tried to kick a goal. Ella was truly an asset on the team and I am so proud of how hard she worked to learn this game and give it her all. Well done, Ella! We can't wait to cheer you on next year!

Playing defense and waiting for the ball to come to her side.

Chasing after the ball. That look of pure determination on Ella's face was a regular thing during each game!

The amazing picture I managed to get of Ella after kicking the ball back into the game. Look at this girls' flexibility and strength!

Like previous years, I organized and ordered participation trophies for the team. Here is Ella proudly showing off her trophy after the game had ended.
